Durood e Ibrahimi

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ وَ مَلٰٓئِکَتَہٗ یُصَلُّوۡنَ عَلَی النَّبِیِّ ؕ یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا صَلُّوۡا عَلَیۡہِ وَ سَلِّمُوۡا تَسۡلِیۡمًا

Arabic Text

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Durood e Ibrahimi - Qadri_S_Khan

Transliteration

Allahumma salli `ala Muhammadin wa `ala ali Muhammadin kama sallaita `ala Ibrahima wa `ala ali Ibrahima Innaka hameedun Majid Allahumma barik `ala Muhammadin wa `ala ali Muhammadin kama barakta `ala Ibrahima wa `ala ali Ibrahima Innaka hamidun Majeed.

English Translation

“O Allah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious”

Urdu Translation

اے اﷲ! رحمت نازل فرما محمد (ﷺ) پر اور آلِ محمد (ﷺ) پر جیسے تونے رحمت نازل فرمائی ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر اور آلِ ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر، یقیناً تو قابلِ تعریف، بڑی شان والا ہے۔ اے اﷲ! برکت نازل فرما محمد (ﷺ) پر اور آلِ محمد (ﷺ) پر جیسے تونے برکت نازل فرمائی ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر اور آلِ ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر، یقیناً تو قابلِ تعریف، بڑی شان والا ہے۔

Darood-e-Ibrahimi Benefits

There are many benefits of Darood-e-Ibrahimi for the one who recites it daily with affection and respect.

Moreover, this Darood reflects one’s true love and affection towards Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ).

THE CLOSENESS TO THE PROPHET (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) IN JANNAH:

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “On the day of Judgment the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood into me.” [Tirmidhi].

ACCEPTANCE OF DUA

Since, Durood-e-Ibrahim is a source of acceptance of Dua. Allah accepts your all supplications if you sent a Darood on Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
